From a young age I’ve been experimenting with furniture arrangement. When furniture is arranged in harmony with a room, a heaviness is lifted. I see this heaviness as a dark film. Just as a dirty camera lens can be cleaned, so can this layer in a room. I’ve literally watched film dissipate as I’ve rearranged a house. Once it’s gone, life comes back to the space and to the people who use it.
